Salmon Nets Apple Electrics in Reading
SHP Opportunity Fund has signed Berkshire appliance specialist Apple Electrics for a trade unit at Stadium Way in Reading.
Apple Electrics have taken a 15 year lease at a rent rising to £43,750 pa, on Unit 12, a 6,100 ft2 unit, at Stadium Trade and Business Park, joining existing tenants including Screwfix, Plumb Centre, Halfords Autocentres Benchmark Kitchens, Mr Clutch Autocentre, and Howdens. The park is owned by SHP Opportunity Fund, a £150m joint venture between Salmon Harvester Properties and NFU Mutual.
James Ansher, Asset Manager for the fund, said: “This letting is a further expression of confidence in Stadium Trade and Business Park, and shows there is strong demand from local and national companies for trade accommodation in west Reading.”
Apple Electrics sell and repair domestic appliances, operating over Berkshire for more than 30 years.
