Investment Management

Salmon are an experienced Asset Manager with a proven track record of consistently delivering returns ahead of IPD/ MSCI for UK based institutional investors;

Track record of managing assets on behalf of large institutional investors including current projects on behalf of NFU Mutual and Royal London Asset Management;

Experience of managing assets on behalf of Family Offices such as recent industrial projects in Havant and Maresfield;

Salmon have had Assets under Management in excess of £100m for last 6 years;

Achieved MSCI/ IPD award winning returns for 2 consecutive years including “Highest performing fund over a 3 year period in the Unlisted Balanced Fund category“ in 2017;

Provided returns to investors between 2013-2018 that exceeded IPD/ MSCI Annual Property Index by over 8% on average.


Salmon is looking for new asset management mandates for existing Funds or can build a bespoke new portfolio to meet the Investors sector weighting/ geographical requirements;

Ideal portfolio size is £150m- £500m;

The Asset Management division of the business includes the following services:

  • Strategy and Business plan analysis;
  • Stock selection;
  • Day-to-day asset management, lease renewals, overseeing rent reviews,
  • Refurbishment & value-add;
  • Rent collection;
  • Cost saving management to maximise performance;

Rorie joined the Board in 1993 acting as Managing Director from 2001 to 2006 and was a founding Director of Salmon.

Paul rejoined Salmon in October 2016. Previously he worked for a privately owned Development Company with cross-sector responsibility for development and asset management opportunities. Recent projects include a 150,000 sq ft speculative office scheme, small unit industrials, mixed-use residential and a sub-regional shopping centre.

Pre client-side he was Partner responsible for the out-of-town employment development team at Weatherall Green & Smith (now BNP Paribas), majoring in the technology sector.

Finance Director

Anthony joined Salmon in November 2013 as Financial Controller. He joins from the London office of the international firm of Chartered Accountants, BDO LLP, where he was an Audit Manager and brings over 9 years experience in their audit and assurance stream and has worked with a number of large companies in the Property Sector.
